Deepavali Makes UNESCO Heritage List

Deepavali, India’s festival of lights, was added to UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage List on Dec 10.

The record-setting artwork, recognised by the Singapore Book of Records, took centre stage at this year’s Deepavali Kondattam, held at the Jurong Spring CC Multi-Purpose Hall and Covered Activity Plaza.
