Several healthcare institutions across the three healthcare clusters — NHG Health, National University Health System (NUHS), and SingHealth — are experiencing disruptions of varying degree on Tuesday.
NHG Health
Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, Woodlands Hospital and Yishun Community Hospital — all under NHG Health — have reported disruptions to their call centre lines.
In a statement posted on its social media, NHG Health said that the call centre lines remain temporarily unavailable, adding that its healthcare institutions are also experiencing system disruption to some services.
The cluster did not elaborate on the services affected but said that it is working with Synapxe to restore the access.
Checks by AsiaOne show that the disruption also affects mindline 1711, Singapore’s first national mental health helpline and textline service.
NUHS
Meanwhile, NUHS said in a separate statement posted on its social media that its institutions are experiencing technical disruptions.
It did not identify the affected services, but similarly said that it is working with Synapxe to restore full access.
SingHealth’s Singapore General Hospital
SingHealth is currently only reporting disruptions at Singapore General Hospital (SGH).
SGH said in a statement that some of its services, including outpatient appointment bookings and changes, visitor registration and billing enquiries are affected.
Visitors may also experience longer registration times, it added.
Synapxe is a Singapore public healthcare technology subsidiary. It supports the operations of public healthcare institutions, including acute hospitals and polyclinics, and some 1,400 community partners such as nursing homes and general practitioners.
On its website, Synapxe states that it partners and supports the Ministry of Health in realising national healthcare policies and outcomes, including the public healthcare IT masterplan and architecture. ASIAONE
