Singapore-Malaysia Luminous Dragon Dance Championships 2025

The brightest and boldest dragon dance troupes from Singapore and Malaysia will face off in the first competition of its kind. There will be dazzling lights, electrifying choreography, and breathtaking skills as 14 elite teams compete. In celebration of SG60, all participating teams will unite to create the SG60 logo.

Chinatown Singapore Winter Solstice 2025

Celebrate Winter Solstice with special durian and gula melaka tangyuan at a special event organised by the Chinatown Business Association. Known as “Dongzhi” in Chinese culture, the Winter Solstice marks the shortest day and longest night of the year. Tangyuan, glutinous rice balls symbolising family unity and harmony, is the quintessential dish served.
