Artworks made by artists with disabilities will make up the six different designs for this year’s National Day Parade (NDP) packs, with about 240,000 packs scheduled to be distributed this year.

Thirty-six artists, aged between six and 65, created artworks depicting everyday Singapore life inspired by the 2026 NDP theme. “Majulah Singapura, Go Beyond!”, and parts of each work were pieced together under the themes, Total Defence, Our People, Our Shared Journey, Our Shared Memories, Go Beyond! and Our Future.

During an engagement event held at the National Stadium on June 30, President Tharman Shanmugaratnam met the artists behind the artworks and said that this depicted “how individuals, differently abled, help to connect us all as Singaporeans”.

The designs will be printed on recycled tote bags, which will be given to students attending the National Education shows, as well as to the public attending the previews and the actual parade on Aug 9.
