Luxury cars seized from Bukit Timah bungalow in money laundering case

Four luxury cars linked to Singapore’s biggest money laundering case were towed out of a good class bungalow (GCB) in Third Avenue, off Bukit Timah Road, on Wednesday.

A red Rolls-Royce Dawn, a black Rolls-Royce Cullinan, a red Porsche 911 Targa and a white Toyota Alphard were removed by the police from the sprawling complex of more than 19,000 sq ft around 2.30pm. The cars are worth over $4.7 million.

The GCB was rented by Vanuatu national Su Jianfeng, 35, one of the 10 accused in the case.

Doctor obsessed with underage sex loses overnight access to his kids

A doctor has lost overnight access to his 15-year-old daughter and 12-year-old son after his former wife submitted transcripts of audio recordings in court to show his sexual promiscuity and “unhealthy obsession” with pornography and sex with underage girls.

The transcripts included several conversations between the 43-year-old doctor and his close friend, a teacher who taught him when he was in junior college.

On Tuesday, Senior Judge Chan Seng Onn said that having reviewed the relevant transcripts, he was satisfied that some of the mother’s assertions were sufficiently borne out by the evidence such that the removal of the father’s overnight and overseas access to his children was justified.

Etias will pre-screen non-EU travellers, who currently enter Europe without a visa, and is designed to minimise security risks.

Condo resale prices up in September, volume down 18.4%

Prices of resale condominiums inched up in September, despite a slump in transactions amid the Hungry Ghost month seasonal lull.

Resale prices rose by 0.8 per cent in September, a slower pace compared with the 1 per cent increase recorded in August, according to flash figures from real estate portals 99.co and SRX released on Thursday.

Property analysts said slower market activity due to the lunar seventh month – which ended in mid-September – and the cautious sentiment among foreign buyers dragged down the prices.
