GIIS SMART Campus students displayed remarkable skills to clinch several medals at the International School Chess Tournament 2023, hosted by the United World College East Campus from Nov 14 to 16.
A total of 112 students, from Grade 1 to 12 represented GIIS in the various categories – Under 9, Under 11, Under 14, Under 16 and Above 16.
The highlights: – Under-11 runners-up, out of 38 teams – Under-14 champions, out of 38 teams – Under-16 runners-up, out of 14 teams – Above-16 champions, out of six teams
