Dinesh Singh Dhillon is New President of Law Society of Singapore

The Law Society of Singapore has appointed 21 new office bearers for 2026.

Mr Dinesh Singh Dhillon will take up the mantle as president, said the Law Society of Singapore in a statement on Nov 17.

He replaces Ms Lisa Sam Hui Min, who had been president since 2024.

The vice-president positions will be held by Mr Tan Cheng Han and Mr Daniel Koh Choon Guan, while the position of treasurer will be filled by Ms Peggy Sarah Yee May Kuen.

Mr Dinesh, reflecting on his appointment, said The Law Society of Singapore will continue to serve its members and the public interest, by ensuring the highest standards of the profession are adhered to.

Mr Dinesh, who practises international arbitration and litigation, is the co-head at Allen & Gledhill’s International Arbitration Practice, according to the firm’s website.

He is also the chairman of Pro Bono SG, co-chair of the Asia Pacific Regional Forum of the International Bar Association and co-chair of the Legal and IPR Committee of The American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore.

Mr Dinesh was called to the Singapore Bar in 1995 and earned a graduate certificate in International Arbitration from the National University of Singapore in 2004.
