Joyalukkas Group honoured 222 long-serving employees at its Jewels of Joy ceremony in Thrissur, Kerala, recognising their contribution to the company’s growth over more than two decades.

The employees, each with over 20 years of service, were rewarded with international trips for themselves and their spouses, along with a bonus equivalent to five months’ salary.

The event was inaugurated by Mr Joy Alukkas, chairman and managing director of the Group, who described the initiative as a gesture of gratitude towards employees who have played a vital role in building the brand since its first store opened in 1988.

With a workforce of over 11,500, the Group has grown into one of the world’s most trusted jewellery retailers, operating across markets including India, the United States, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, Singapore, and Malaysia.

Senior leadership, including Director Joly Joyalukkas and CEO (International Operations) John Paul, attended the ceremony alongside industry and cultural personalities. Joyalukkas’ Singapore was represented by regional manager Freddy Paul.

The company is also preparing for further expansion into Hong Kong, Thailand, Canada, and New Zealand.
