Bank of Baroda inaugurated its new office premises at One Raffles Place on Sept 10, marking a new chapter in the bank’s operations in Singapore.

The premises were officially opened by Bank of Baroda Executive Director Lalit Tyagi and India’s Deputy High Commissioner to Singapore Sudhi Choudhary, in the presence of senior bank officials, customers and members of the Indian banking fraternity.

For Bank of Baroda, the new premises represent an effort to strengthen its engagement with corporate and institutional customers in Singapore while maintaining its longstanding connections with India.

The move to One Raffles Place places the bank in the heart of Singapore’s financial district and is aimed at strengthening its ability to serve its customers while supporting its expanding range of banking services.

From its new premises, Bank of Baroda will continue to focus on key areas including Wholesale Banking, Trade Finance, Transaction Banking, Financial Institutions and Corporate Banking.

The bank said customer service and innovation would remain central to its operations as it begins the latest phase of its Singapore journey.

The inauguration also featured a distinctly Indian cultural and commercial element with the opening of a One District One Product (ODOP) Gallery at the new office.

The gallery showcases traditional crafts, distinctive products and local heritage from different parts of India, while highlighting the skills and craftsmanship of artisans across the country.

The ODOP initiative seeks to give greater visibility to products associated with individual districts and their traditional areas of expertise. Its presence at the Singapore office provides visitors with a glimpse of India’s diverse artisanal traditions alongside the bank’s financial activities.

The combination of a modern banking office and a showcase of Indian craftsmanship gave the inauguration a broader dimension, linking financial services with India’s cultural and entrepreneurial heritage.

For Bank of Baroda, the new premises represent an effort to strengthen its engagement with corporate and institutional customers in Singapore while maintaining its longstanding connections with India.

Singapore is an important international financial centre and a key gateway for companies doing business across Asia, making the new location particularly significant for the bank’s wholesale, corporate and trade-related operations.

With the opening at One Raffles Place, Bank of Baroda begins its latest chapter in Singapore with an emphasis on stronger customer engagement, innovation and connectivity – while the ODOP Gallery brings a small but colourful slice of India into the heart of Singapore’s financial district.
