The Global Hindi Foundation Singapore, spearheaded by its founder Mamta Mandal, is organising the third edition of the Singapore Hindi Writers’ Festival. It brings together an inspiring lineup of contemporary writers, poets and thinkers from Singapore, Malaysia, and India. Key featured speakers and authors include Anju Purohit, acclaimed diaspora speaker, poet and cultural organiser, and Neetu Gujral, renowned poet and writer.

• Project Udvasanam
Supported by the Hindu Advisory Board, Project Udvasanam encourages Hindu devotees to surrender old, damaged or unwanted religious items rather than dispose of them as ordinary waste. Items accepted include deity statues (not exceeding 60cm in height), deity pictures and photographs (without glass and frames) and calendars featuring deity pictures. Prayer items such as lamps, trays and vessels will not be accepted.
