Anurag Kashyap’s upcoming gangster drama Nishaanchi, marking Aaishvary Thackeray’s (left) Bollywood debut, has been shot as a two-part film, with its sequel filmed alongside the original in Lucknow.
Aaishvary, who is the grandson of Shiv Sena party founder Bal Thackeray and playing twin brothers Babloo and Dabloo opposite Vedika Pinto, headlines a tale of crime and transformation. The first film releases on Sept 19, with Nishaanchi 2 to follow.
