Malayalam composer Sushin Shyam expressed disappointment after Netflix used his track The Last Dance from Aavesham in the Splinter Cell: Deathwatch trailer (right) without credit.
The promo prominently featured the composition, but neither he nor singer Hanumankind was acknowledged. Sushin commented online: “Would’ve been cooler if my name had made it to the credits.” The incident sparked debate about recognition for regional artistes.
Sushin, now among Malayalam cinema’s busiest composers, has major upcoming projects across Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu films.
