Punjab-born actress Sheena Chohan has been cast in the lead role of Arjunanin Allirani, a Tamil folk drama exploring caste discrimination among traditional artistes.
Written by B. Jeyamohan and directed by Vino Vikraman Pillai, the film features music by Ilaiyaraaja and marks Sheena’s Tamil cinema debut after work in Malayalam, Hindi and international films.
