After winning the National Award for Best Actor for Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan thanked Viveck Vaswani, co-producer of his early hit Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman, calling him the man he “started it all with”.
Vaswani posted an old photo of the duo on X, prompting Shah Rukh’s heartfelt response. Though they haven’t been in regular touch, their friendship spans decades.
Vaswani, now a school dean, had supported SRK during his early days in Mumbai, even offering him shelter.
