Actress Nithya Menen revealed that co-star Vijay Sethupathi turned chef while filming Thalaivan Thalaivii, cooking omelettes between shots.
Playing a cook in the film, Sethupathi would use a hot stone prop to whip up food for the crew.
Nithya said his passion for cooking brought warmth to the set, which was built around a temple. The actors grew emotionally attached to the location, and many found it hard to leave once filming wrapped.
