Fashion designer and entrepreneur Riddhima Kapoor Sahni’s daughter Samara, recently went viral for appearing upset at a wedding.
In the video, the young girl appeared upset while facing the paparazzi, sparking speculation that she was angry with her mother.
The truth, however, turned out to be far simpler.
Last week, the 14-year-old, who is actor Ranbir Kapoor’s niece, clarified in a vlog: “Let a girl have a resting face. It’s not a problem.”
Riddhima explained that Samara deliberately strikes a “blue steel” look for cameras. “I told her it looks like she is angry,” she said.
But Samara was quick to normalise the idea, adding, “Smiling is good, but it’s also okay to just have a resting face.”
