At Homebound’s Oscar-entry premiere, Janhvi Kapoor paid tribute to her late mother Sridevi by wearing her royal blue saree, last worn at Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s 2017 reception.
Fans were moved, calling it “a beautiful homage”.
