Janhvi Kapoor is reportedly in talks to star in the remake of her mother Sridevi’s (left) cult hit Chaalbaaz. Earlier, Shraddha Kapoor had been attached to the project, but it never materialised.
Sources told Free Press Journal that Janhvi views the film as deeply personal, balancing excitement with caution over inevitable comparisons to her late mother. She is consulting close advisers before confirming participation and is expected to finalise her decision by September-end.
