Filmmaker Dayal Padmanabhan’s upcoming non-linear Tamil period drama Lakshmikanthan Kolai Vazhakku revolves around a murder inspired by a real-life incident.
While speculation links it to the infamous murder of film journalist Lakshmikanthan, for which actors MK Thyagaraja Bhagavathar and NS Krishnan were convicted, Dayal has kept the details under wraps.
The film stars Vetri as a thief, with Brigida Saga as the female lead.
