A fan in Madurai marked Superstar Rajinikanth’s 50th year in cinema by decorating the Arulmigu Sri Rajini Temple with 5,500 photos of the actor and performing rituals, including abhishekam, on its 300kg idol.
The temple, dedicated to Rajinikanth, symbolises his enduring popularity across generations. At 74, Rajinikanth remains one of Tamil cinema’s top stars, continuing a remarkable career that began in 1975 and still resonates deeply with fans today.
