Actor Faissal Khan (left), brother of Bollywood star Aamir Khan, reflected on the box office disaster Mela (2000) in a recent interview, revealing production delays due to Aamir’s differences with director Dharmesh Darshan.
Faissal, who debuted with Madhosh (1994), said the four-year shoot stalled his career, and he now lives on a monthly allowance from Aamir.
Despite regrets over Mela, Faissal believes he performed well, even as the film marked the end of Aamir-Darshan collaborations.
