Actor Dhanush grew emotional at the pre-release event of his upcoming film Idli Kadai in Madurai on Sept 24.
He teared up when the mother of the child actor playing his younger self delivered a heartfelt tribute.
“I am overjoyed that Dhanush sir chose my child to act in his film,” she said. “But, more importantly, I’ve been fond of Dhanush for a long time. I have been praying for something like this for a long time. When he asked my son to act in the film, I felt such joy.”
Overwhelmed, Dhanush thanked the audience for their support.
