Tomorrow marks the first time Tamil music composer and singer Yuvan Shankar Raja is putting up a concert in Singapore.

High On U1 will be performed on a stage offering a 360-degree view at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Yuvan met his eager fans on Wednesday at Ishtara Jewellery in Little India.

“We hope to give Yuvan’s fans a concert that exceeds their expectations,” said Maestro Productions director Parthiban Murugaiyan, who also owns Ishtara Jewellery.

Yuvan, who has been creating music for more than 25 years, performed in Germany, France and Canada, before arriving in Singapore.

“I went to both Paris and Malaysia just to watch Yuvan’s magical concerts,” said die-hard fan Ashwin Chockalingam, 24.

“I’m so pumped for his concert on Saturday. I can’t wait to see which songs he’ll perform and I can’t wait to enjoy the concert with my friends.”

Fans will also get to hear Tamil singers Haricharan, Sam Vishal, Andrea Jeremiah, Priyanka and others perform live at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. The opening acts will feature popular artists Darkkey (Malaysia) and Asal Kolaar (India).
