Patriotic harmony has flooded social media, with several artists and even organisations releasing their own renditions or completely original compositions of National Day music videos.
Ondraaga Munneruvom by Samintharaj Kumar
Dental surgeon Dr Samintharaj Kumar released his original NDP song through a lyric video on social media called Ondraaga Munneruvom, translating to “Let us move forward together as one”.
The song is filled with catchy harmonies and acapella insertions that are sure to stay with listeners. A standout line that represents the community spirit is “Thol koduthu naam ezhuvom. Orae deepaththil olirvom” which translates to “We lend our shoulders and rise together. We will shine in one flame”.
National Day Medley by Singapore Airlines
The same flight attendants who make your flights on Singapore Airlines (SIA) comfortable and smooth are bringing the National Day cheer through SIA’s National Day medley video, Going Beyond in Harmony, Celebrating Singapore’s 61st Birthday.
Highlighting the talents of the cabin crew, the video showcases their singing, dancing, and even instrumental capabilities. There is also multiculturalism woven throughout as crew of different ethnicities sing and dance to each other’s songs. For example, with leading steward Fauzan singing Munnaeru Vaalibaa, while a chief stewardess leads an Indian leads the dance.
Singapurin Perumai by Tamil Saagaa
Tamil media platform Tamil Saaga released a dynamic anthem, Singapurin Perumai or Singapore Pride. The production feels like a concert performance, with several background vocals layered on top of each other. The music video also includes clips of heartland celebrations by communities, grounding it further to citizens.
NDP 2026: Singapore Town–Tapau Medley by Shiok Sistas and Ric Liu
