LISTEN: Janaab-e-ali
The electrifying dance number from War 2, Janaab-e-ali, brings Hrithik Roshan and Telugu actor Jr NTR face-to-face in a high-octane showdown that has, since its release, taken the internet by storm. Composed by Pritam with vocals by Sachet Tandon and Saaj Bhatt, and lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya, the song is reminiscent of the hit tune, Jai Jai Shivshankar, in the prequel War.
Choreographed by Bosco Leslie Martis and shot over seven days at YRF Studios, the sequence showcases explosive chemistry between the two stars known for their dancing prowess. Not promoting the song prior to the film’s theatrical release proved strategic, as its cinematic reveal made it an instant highlight. War 2 premiered on Aug 14 worldwide, directed by Ayan Mukherji who has also helmed super-hits such as Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Brahmastra.
WATCH: Nishaanchi
Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, Nishaanchi is a highly anticipated Hindi crime drama set to release in theaters on Sept 19. The film aims to deliver a powerful mix of intense drama, action, and emotional depth. The soundtrack’s unique Bhojpuri, Hindi, and English lyrics reflect the film’s heartland roots. Shot in 69 days, Nishaanchi tries to capture an immersive cinematic experience with Uttar Pradesh as its backdrop.
