Actor Gagan Dev Riar has been praised for his work in the new streaming series Scam 2003: The Telgi Story, particularly for pulling up his trousers in playing the role of counterfeiter Abdul Karim Telgi.
“Due to my fluctuating weight, there were moments when my trousers would unexpectedly slip down, occasionally interrupting a scene,” he revealed.
“I decided to incorporate the move with the trousers into an intense scene and, to my surprise, the director gave me a nod of approval, saying it added colour to the character’s personality.
“That’s how Telgi’s signature move was born.”
