Actor Shabir Ahluwalia transformed himself into a female for a sequence in the TV show Pyaar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan.
He believes it has given a layer of authenticity and revolutionised the plot. “A lot of actors have cross-dressed, but it has usually been for comic relief,” he said. “My character’s transition will elevate the drama quotient and intensity of the plot.”
