Kerala police are looking into the death of TV actress Aparna Nair on Aug 31 after her mother Beena claimed that Aparna was mentally tortured by her husband Sanjith.
According to Manorama News, the 31-year-old actress ended her life immediately after a video call with her mother, in which she allegedly said she could no longer bear the pressure Sanjith was putting on her. The couple have two children.
Sanjith told reporters that he did not know the reason for his wife’s suicide.
