FILM: Tere Ishk Mein
Directed by Aanand L. Rai and starring Dhanush as Shankar and Kriti Sanon as Mukti, Tere Ishk Mein is an intense romantic drama set in the spiritual lanes of Varanasi. The film reunites the 2013 superhit Raanjhanaa’s team of A. R. Rahman, Irshad Kamil, and Himanshu Sharma, promising an exploration of love, loss, and redemption.
Shankar, a man scarred by grief, who collides with Mukti (Kriti), a woman searching for freedom from her past. Their connection ignites a storm of passion and pain that tests the limits of devotion. The title track, sung by Arijit Singh and composed by Rahman, has already become a viral anthem. Its visuals mirror the film’s core – a love that heals and destroys in equal measure. With poetic storytelling, Tere Ishk Mein, which is releasing on Nov 28 this year, captures the beauty and brutality of surrendering to love.
TV: Pitch to Get Rich
Streaming exclusively on JioHotstar from Oct 20, Pitch to Get Rich is India’s first reality series dedicated to fashion entrepreneurship. Produced by the Fashion Entrepreneur Fund (FEF) and Dharmatic Entertainment, the show puts 14 emerging fashion founders before a star-studded panel – including Akshay Kumar, Karan Johar, Manish Malhotra, and Malaika Arora, alongside heavyweight business investors.
Participants compete not only in design and brand building but also face real-world business challenges, pitching their concepts for a share of a substantial 40 crore Rs (S$5.9 million) investment pool. With the tagline “when fashion founders Pitch To Get Rich, kaching-kaching is inevitable!”, the show aims to spotlight India’s booming fashion sector and inspire a new generation of creators who want to convert style into scalable business.
