Eight civil servants have been referred to the police after a review of their property transactions, Coordinating Minister for Public Services Chan Chun Sing told parliament on Tuesday.

Indian airline IndiGo will increase its fuel charges on domestic and international routes from October 6 as aviation turbine fuel costs rise globally.

Fuel charges on domestic routes will increase to Rs375 (S$4.98) – Rs1,300 rupees from Rs275 – Rs950, while those on international routes will rise to Rs1,000 – Rs10,000 from Rs900 – Rs10,000, based on the distance travelled, the airline said.
